Pat ChristmanNakoma Volkman stands in front of copies of his artwork and writings he was selling at the 41st annual Mahkato traditional wacipi. This year, besides being a vendor, Volkman gave two presentations to college students during the powwow. The Rochester man discussed the regalia he was wearing, corrected some of Hollywood's stereotypes of Indians and gave a brief drum demonstration to about a dozen youths who sat inside a tipi on the grounds at Land of Memories Park.
