The August Schell Brewery in New Ulm, which hit its 150th anniversary three years ago, has grown substantially as producer of beer and as a tourist attraction. But it still deserves the status -- and tax credits -- of a small brewery according to a senator pushing legislation in St. Paul, one of numerous beer-related bills heard Monday.
