Concerning the article about removing eyesores along the highway, Jesus is a sight for sore eyes.

Recently, on a missions trip to India, I saw sight restored to the blind, hearing to the deaf, ability to walk to the lame — all done in the name of Jesus.

There was the case of a young lady running from an abusive relationship. Police saw her and questioned where she was going. Looking up, seeing a “Jesus” sign, she told them, “Take me to a church.”

It was not the church on the billboard. Her eyes were sore from crying. She wouldn’t have seen this sign of hope had it been located on that church property.

Jesus said, “Father forgive.”
