There is no fee for basic birth announcements, however, an enhanced announcement that includes the baby’s name, photo, weight and other additional information is available for a small fee by calling 344-6395. If preferred, printed forms for birth announcements are available by stopping in The Free Press office or writing Newsroom, 418 South Second Street, P.O. Box 3287, Mankato, MN 56001.
