VIDEO: The FreeP Show, Vol. IV, featuring Richard Meyer

— For this edition of The FreeP Show, we invited Mankato poet Richard Meyer to share a few of his verses in the newsroom in honor of National Poetry Month.

Meyer is a former high school teacher whose poems have earned him a handful of recent accolades, including the 2012 Frost Farm Prize. His poems will be appearing in a variety of publications in coming months, including Light, The Raintown Review, and the Alabama Literary Review.

Here, his selection of poems include: “Onslaught," “To Eva, Who Clings to Chastity,” “Well-attended” and “Fieldstone.”
