Card makers tap creativity to send message

The result is often greatly appreciated by the recipient. Some people save the cards, some frame them, some even find ways to reuse them as note cards. The greatest compliment, however, is to have a card replicated.

“If someone likes what I’ve done enough to duplicate it,” Gratz says, “that’s the best. That’s great for me.”
