---- — Former Hell's Angel to speak at church

ST. PETER — A former Hell's Angel will be speaking at Jesus Assembly of God in St. Peter Sunday morning.

Jesus Assembly and the Christian Motorcycle Association are co-hosting a Motorcycle Sunday event, with speaker Ben Priest. Priest was a member of the Hell’s Angels, but after coming to his faith, he started the Christian group called “The Tribe of Judah.”

Following the service, there will be a hog roast lunch and silent auction fundraiser for locally abused and neglected kids. The lunch is $5, and there is a $25 max per family. Viking Jared Allen has donated a jersey to be raffled.

Attendants are encouraged to bring "a bike and a friend." For more information, call 934-1468.

Installation Service

MANKATO -- A special service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1103 N Broad St.

Rev. Tom Braun will be installed as Pastor/Church Planter for Our Savior's mission congregation in St. Peter.

The service will be followed by a dinner and reception at 5 p.m.. Everyone is invited to attend the service and reception.

Prayer Summit Conference

NORTH MANKATO -- The Potter's House of Prayer will be hosting the annual Prayer Summit Conference from Thursday through Aug. 25, at New Creation World Outreach Church, 1124 N. River Drive.

The conference will feature special guests Corey Russell and Allen Hood from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, who will be delivering powerful teachings.

The public is invited to join and gather together to pray, worship and grow, but registration is required to attend.
