Briefs: Terry Davis reading from new work on Saturday; Atlanta painter Jiha Moon lecturing at MSU


Moon is an Atlanta-based painter whose gestural paintings explore fluid identities and the global movement of people and their cultures, according to Paul Boshears in the New Americans Painting blog. The DaeGu, Korea-born artist's works have been acquired by Asia Society, New York, N.Y.; High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Ga.; The Mint Museum of Art, Charlotte, N.C.; and Smithsonian Institute, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C., among others.
