---- — MSU announces Mike Posner for April 28 concert
MANKATO – Minnesota State University has announced that pop singer-songwriter Mike Posner and a special guest will perform during an 8 p.m. concert on April 28 in Bresnan Arena.
Posner’s 2010 single “Cooler Than Me” sold over 1 million copies, made it to number four of USA Today’s top 40 airplay chart and reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and Digital Songs Chart. Among Posner’s newest releases is the single “Top of the World,” featuring Big Sean.
Posner concert tickets will be exclusively available to MSU students for one week beginning on April 1, and remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 8.
MSU students will be able to purchase one ticket per student for $22 starting at 10 a.m. on April 1. After ticket sales start at 10 a.m. on April 1, in-person sales will continue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday while tickets remain.
The general public may purchase general admission tickets for $30 starting at 10 a.m. on April 8 online at www.csuevents.com or in person at Centennial Student Union Room 173.
Posner’s concert is recommended for audiences 16 years and older. Free event parking will be available in Lots 20 and 21 located adjacent to Blakeslee Stadium on the university campus.
Equinox Fair debuts Saturday with music, vendors
MANKATO — Full Moon Productions in Mankato is debuting its latest event, the Equinox Fair, on Saturday at the Best Western in Mankato.
Workshops and vendors open at noon and include everything from meditation and gardening sessions to essential oils and tarot readings.
Live music begins at 7 p.m. and includes Useful Jenkins, Peewee Dread, Venice Gas House Trolley, Leeland James and Jeremy Michael Olson.
Tickets are $20 (pass to the event, all workshops and live music), $15 (event and all the workshops) and $8 (music only). For more info, search “Equinox Art Fair” in Facebook.
