Jesus Loves Me adds toddler room

NORTH MANKATO -- The Jesus Loves Me Learning Center will be opening a new toddler room on Sept. 30 at the St. Paul's Church, 304 Monroe.

Enrollment is now being take for ages 16-32 months. They are licensed for 14 children and spaces are going quickly.

St. Joseph's hosting Heritage Day closer

HENDERSON -- The St. Joseph's Parish will be holding a Polka Mass at 5 p.m. Saturday to close out Henderson's Heritage Days.

After mass there will be a supper including casseroles, salads and pie from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Free-will offerings will be accepted.

There will also be a raffle with cash and prizes at the event.

Montgomery Parish Festival

MONTGOMERY -- The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer will be celebrating its annual Parish Festival from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church, 206 Vine Ave. W.

The festival will start with services and end with a raffle drawing with more than $4,000 in prizes, with plenty of activities to keep the family entertained between.

Highlights include chicken and ham dinner, silent auction, craft sale, homemade candy and musical guests.

Fall Festival begins Sunday

MANKATO -- The annual Fall Festival will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 816 Hubbell Ave.

The event will feature silent auction, games for kids and adults, raffles, bake sale and a Cake Casino.

There will also be hot beef sandwiches, brats, pie and more.

Campus Crusade for Christ visits area

The Campus Crusade for Christ is a Christian organization that will be having two events in the area:

First, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, the group will be at Mountain Lake Public School.

Then, at 7 p.m. Wednesday they will be at Springfield Public School.

These events feature speaker Jon Pritikin, who will share tips for tackling self-worth issues. The events are free and open to the public.
