Salem Lutheran luncheon and bazaar

MADELIA -- Salem Lutheran Church of Madelia is hosting its annual luncheon and bazaar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 109 Third St. S.E.

Menu choices include chicken hot dish and cranberry salad or barbecue sandwiches and potato salad. Dessert and beverage is also included.

Nativity in Cleveland hosting salad luncheon

CLEVELAND -- The Church of the Nativity in Cleveland will be having a salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Immigration presentation and prayer service

MANKATO -- The School Sisters of Notre Dame will be holding a presentation about immigration issues and a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Conference Center, 170 Good Counsel Drive.

Pet Blessing at St. John's

MANKATO -- St. John's Episcopal Church will be having their annual Pet Blessing at 2 p.m. Sunday at 302 Warren St., Mankato.

The Pet Blessing is in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. All pets and their owners are welcome.

Annual Booya at Holy Family

LAKE CRYSTAL -- Everyone is invited to attend the Holy Family's annual Booya from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 201 N. Hunt St.

The event includes all-you-can-eat mealwith dessert included.

The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children and preschoolers are free.

St. Matthews' roast turkey dinner

VERNON CENTER -- St. Matthew's Catholic Church will host its annual roast turkey dinner from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the church, 200 Kendall St.

The dinner will include roast turkey and all the trimmings including homemade pie. This is a matching-grant fundraiser through Catholic United Financial.
