MANKATO -- Mankato Centenary will be holding a rummage sale from 8-11 a.m. Saturday at 501 S. Second St.
There will be a sack sale, where you can buy a sack of items for $2.
All proceeds go directly to mission work.
Rummage sale for women's ministries
MANKATO -- St. John's Episcopal Church will be holding a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the corner of Warren and Broad.
There will be a $3 sack sale.
All proceeds go to the woman's ministries.
Lutefisk and meatball dinner
MANKATO -- Grace Lutheran Church will be holding a lutefisk and Swedish meatball dinner at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday at 320 E. Main St.
The event will include lutefisk, Swedish meatballs, melted butter and Swedish cream sauce, lefse, vegetables, dessert and more.
Cost is $17 for adults, $8 children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under.
Fall Festival at St. Peter
ST. PETER -- The Church of St. Peyer will be hosting its Fall Festival from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 1801 W. Broadway, St. Peter.
Food will include coffee and rolls, hob beef sandwiches and pie. The festival will feature a country store, bake shop, candy store, whimsical garden silent auction and more.

SSND craft fair and garage sale
MANKATO -- The School Sisters of Notre Dame will host their annual craft sale and garage sale from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Campus, 170 Good Counsel Drive.
The event will feature a wide arrangement of sister-made crafts, ceramics, baked goods, rosemaling and more. Breakfast, lunch and dessert are available for purchase.

Kirtan group visiting Mankato
MANKATO -- A Kirtan Group will be visiting Mankato from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Hope Interfaith Center, 114 Pohl Road.
Kirtan is an ancient participatory call-and-response chanting that helps bring you to a place of quiet, stillness and bliss. Kirtan comes from India and is one of the oldest sacred music traditions.

Polka worship and brunch
LE CENTER -- There will be a Polka Worship Service at 9 a.m. Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 232 W. Minnesota St., Le Center.
There will be inspirational polka music by Chuck Thiel and the Jolly Ramblers. There will also be a brunch served from 10-11:30 a.m. The brunch includes egg bake, cheesy potatoes, fruit, and more. It also includes coffee, milk and orange juice.
The cost is $7 for adults, $4 for children ages 4-10 and free for children 3 and under.
Guest to Grace Lutheran Church
MANKATO -- Rev. Dr. Herbert Chilstrom, the first presiding bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, will speak at an adult forum at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church, 320 E. Main St.
Rev. Chilstrom will discuss his experiences and share memories from his autobiography.
Building Bridges luncheon
ST. JAMES -- The St. James Area Christian Women will be holding their "Building Bridges" luncheon at noon on Thrusday in the St. James Legion Club room.
The event will feature music by Amanda Stradtman and speaker Catherine Tutt.
