Art Exhibits April 4-10

Arts Center of St. Peter — Exhibit of noted Minnesota ceramic artists beginning Saturday at 315 S. Minnesota Ave., St. Peter. Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Blue Earth County Historical Society’s Heritage Center — An exhibit of works by Terri DeGezelle continues this week at 415 Cherry St., Mankato. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Blue Earth County Library, Mankato —  Displays featuring Project GEM student artists this month at 100 E. Main St. Exhibit may be viewed during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Brown County Historical Society Museum — Wanda Gag 120th Birthday Exhibit through November at 2 N. Broadway, New Ulm. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Centennial Student Union Gallery — Student Art League Juried Invitational Show through April 10 in lower level of MSU Student Union. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.

Coffee Hag — Paintings by April Anderson this month at 329 N. Riverfront Drive. Exhibit may be viewed during shop hours.

Conkling Gallery, MSU — Senior Show I through today at 139 Nelson Hall. Participating artists: Alex Binenstock, Elizabeth Dargay, Douglas Ferrie, Joseph Kahnke, Jacob Kuddes, Kercia Mueller, John Pratt, Kristin Spieker and Lindsey Windfeldt. Opening reception for Senior Show 2 at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Gallery hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

Emy Frentz Arts Guild Gallery — Jo Bunting’s works in copper and glass through May 15 at S. Second St., Mankato. Hours: Noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Hillstrom Museum of Art, St. Peter — “How Things Are: Paintings by Ann Martin” and “The Eight, the Ashcan School and the American Scene in the Hillstrom Collection” showing concurrently through April 21 in the lower level of C. Charles Jackson Campus Center at Gustavus Adolphus College. Spring break hours this week: 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Artist’s gallery talk 7:30 p.m. April 15.
