Miller bids MSO adieu

Resigns as concertmaster, retains chamber series role

The Music on the Hill chamber music series closes 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel at Good Counsel.

The concert opens with Beethoven’s first string quartet. Grammy winning violinist Karen Kim will perform “In Search of a Violin Sonata,” a piece written for her by Craig Woodward. The concluding work is Faure’s C Minor Piano Quartet. Additional performers include Mary Jo Gothmann, Emily Hagen and Hanno Strydom.
