LE SUEUR -- The Ottawa Historians will be hosting their Annual Ottawa Historic Prayer Service and Harvest Potluck Picnic at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Bur Oak Park in Ottawa.

The service will be led by Pastor Luck Nelson and will feature music, food, fellowship and reminiscing. Utensils, beverages and ice cream will be provided.

In case of inclement weather, the gathering will be moved to the Ottawa Town Hall.

West Newton Parish Festival

NEW ULM -- The St. George Catholic Church of West Newton Township in New Ulm will be hosting its annual Parish Festival starting at 8:45 a.m. Sunday at the Parish Center.

The day begins with a Heritage Mass at 8:45 a.m., this will be followed by St. George bratwurst and roast beef dinner served from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

The festival will also feature a bake sale, country store, raffle items, bingo and more.

Fall Festival at Marysburg

MADISON LAKE -- Marysburg Church will be hosting its Fall Festival beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the chruch, 27528 Patrick Street, Madison Lake.

An outdoor mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by a pork tenderloin dinner, a full range of side dishes and pies for dessert. A hot dog meal is available for kids, if desired. Food is served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

There will be live music by the Mary Guentzel Quartet, a beer tent, farmer's market, bake sale and more.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children ages 5 and under.

Apocrypha on Adult Forum agenda

MANKATO — Resurrection Lutheran Church is hosting its Wednesday Evening Adult Forum.

The forum will be held 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, 1735 E. Main St. Pastor Greg Lunz will lead a discussion about The Apocrypha.
