Easter Worship features special music

AMBOY —Jackson Lake Lutheran Church will have an Easter Worship Celebration at 8:15 a.m. Sunday at the church, Main St. and Fourth Ave.

Everyone is welcome to attend and the special music will be provided by local musician Andrew Babcock.

Immanuel Evangelical holding pancake breakfast

MANKATO — Immanuel Lutheran Church of Mankato will be holding an Easter pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. Sunday at the church, 421 N. Second St.

The pancake breakfast is part of the church's Holy Week schedule. For more information, call 345-3027.

Easter breakfast follows sunrise service

EAGLE LAKE — The Epiphany Lutheran Church will be holding an Easter breakfast from 8-9:45 a.m. Sunday at the church, 605 Parkway Ave.

The menu for the event features scrambled egg and ham dish, muffins, fruit, and beverage.

A free-will offering will be accepted and funds will support the Confirmation ministry.

Faith United holding spring luncheon

WASECA — Faith United Methodist Church will be holding its spring luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 801 Fourth Ave. N.E.

The menu for the event will feature pasta salad, sloppy Joes, egg salad sandwiches, chips and more.

A free-will donation will be accepted. The facility is wheelchair accessible and has listening device assistance.

United Methodist holding salad luncheon

NORTH MANKATO — Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church will be holding its spring salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 325 Sherman St.

The menu will include an assortment of salads and desserts. The cost is $7.

Christian Women host guest night

ST. JAMES — The St. James Area Christian Women will be holding a guest night, "Prisms of Lights," at 6 p.m. Thursday at the St. James Legion Club room.

The event will feature Jon Gilfillan talking about stained glass, speaker Robert Snodgrass from Sheboygan, Wis., and music by Ricardo Renteria of Mountian Lake.

The event is for all men and women. Tickets must be purchased in advance by Sunday.
