Art Exhibits Jan. 17-23

Arts Center of St. Peter —  Third annual Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council/McKnight Artist Grantee Exhibition Friday through Feb. 17 at 315 S. Minnesota Ave., St. Peter. Reception 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Blue Earth County Historical Society’s Heritage Center —  An exhibit of works by Terri DeGezelle through March at  415 Cherry St., Mankato. Reception for “Sojourner of Gratitude” 5-7 p.m. Feb. 21. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Brown County Historical Society Museum — U.S. Army-Dakota War of 1862 display this month at 2 N. Broadway, New Ulm. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Centennial Student Union Gallery —  An installation created from paper by undergraduates Kristine Spieker, Peter Phung and Tu Pham through Jan. 30 in lower level of MSU Student Union. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.

Conkling Gallery, MSU — Bloomington, Ind., artist Dave Rowe’s wall sculptures exhibit “Latent Landscapes” Monday through Feb. 1 at 139 Nelson Hall. Lecture 7 p.m. Jan. 30, followed by reception. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

Emy Frentz Arts Guild Gallery — Mixed media works by Wells native Melisse Treptow through Feb. 20 at 523 S. Second St., Mankato. Reception 5-7 p.m. Jan. 17. Hours: Noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Hillstrom Museum of Art, St. Peter — “Hena Unikiksuyapi: In Commemoration of the Dakota Mass Execution of 1862” Monday through Feb. 8 in the lower level of C. Charles Jackson Campus Center at Gustavus Adolphus College. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1- 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

North Mankato Taylor Library — Oil paintings by Lu Mulder this month at 1001 Belgrade Ave. Exhibit may be viewed during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The 410 Project — “Landocked” one-year anniversary exhibition through Jan. 27 at 523 S. Front St. Hours 2-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Ylvisaker Fine Arts Center— Works by Minnesota ceramist Tom Abel through Feb. 22 at 700 Luther Drive, Bethany Lutheran College. Hours: 1-9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 1-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
