Lewy Body Awareness Presentation and Fundraiser

NORTH MANKATO -- There will be a presentation titled "Living with Lewy Body" at 1 p.m. Saturday at Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church, 325 Sherman St.

The presentation and fundraiser will feature songs and stories by Jim Roe and Mary Ann Dundas in honor of Roe's Wife, Judy, and Dundas' mother, Anne.

Community Thanksgiving Worship Service

MANKATO -- The Mankato Area Ministerial Association will be hosting a Mankato Community Thanksgiving Worship Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 105 N Fifth St., Mankato.

All are welcome to attend. The offering from the evening will benefit the ECHO Food Shelf and the BackPack Food Program.

Community Thanksgiving Service

LAKE CRYSTAL -- The Lake Crystal Area Ministerial Association will be hosting a community-wide Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church.

The sermon will be delivered by Father Tim Biren of Holy Family Parish and other pastors in the LCAMA will participate as well.

The offering received during the service will be used entirely to support the community-wide food pantry ministry at First Baptist Church.

Feast at First in Lake Crystal

LAKE CRYSTAL -- There willo be a free Thanksgiving Day Meal served from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 302 E. Prince St., Lake Crystal.

The traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner will include turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, salads, and more. This is a free dinner and no "free will offering" will be received the day of the dinner. Donations may be made to the church, but donating to attend is not obligatory.

Everyone is invited to the dinner. Reservations are helpful in knowing how much food to prepare, but walk-ins are welcome.
