Mark Smeby Christmas concert in Amboy

AMBOY -- Recording artist Mark Smeby will performer at 7 p.m. today at Jackson Lake Lutheran in Amboy.

The community choir will be singing with him during this free concert.

Christmas for Kids

NORTH MANKATO -- St. Paul's Lutheran Chuch will be hosting a Christmas for Kids event from 10 a.m. to noon today at the church, 304 Monroe Ave.

This event is a free childcare service for parents to keep their children occupied while they Christmas shop or wrap presents.

There will be stories, crafts, singing and other activities. The event will not include lunch.

Cookie Walk at Calvary Lutheran

RAPIDAN -- The Women of Calvary Lutheran Church are sponsoring a Cookie Walk starting at 9 a.m. today at Calvary Lutheran Church, located on County Road 33.

For $10 a person gets a box and they may select of any of the cookies that are available.

Musical services at Good Shepard

WELLS -- The Adult Choir of Good Shepard Lutheran Church will be presenting a musical look at the birth of Christ during the 5 p.m. service today and the 9 a.m. service on Sunday at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 291 First St. S.W.

These services are open to the public.

Christian Women hosting luncheon

ST. JAMES -- The St. James Christian Women will be hosting a "HoHo Scrubs" luncheon at noon on Thursday at the Legion club room.

The event will feature a presentation by Cheri Miller on "body scrubs" and speaker and music by Holly Berry.

Reservations are needed by Tuesday by calling Kathy at 375-5046 or Joan 597-427-8943.
