All Saints Super Bingo

MADISON LAKE -- All Saints Catholic Church is holding Super Bingo starting at noon on Sunday at the church.

Early bird starts at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $20 for a packet. You can purchase tickets ahead of time by calling 507-243-3819.

Pancake Breakfast at St. John's

MANKATO -- St. John's Knights of Columbus will be holding a pancake breakfast after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Mass on Sunday in Mathews Hall, 632 S. Broad St.

The menu includes plain and blueberry pancakes, eggs, meat, apple sauce, coffee, milk and orange juice.

The cost is $5 for adults. There is a $20 maximum for a family.

Black Madonna presentation

MANKATO -- The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will be hosting a presentation titled "A Journey to Provence: On the Trail of the Black Madonna and Mary Magdalene" at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The presentation will be led by Wilbur Neushwander-Frink and her husband Brian Frink. Neushwander-Frink has been doing local research for several years and recently received a grant to study the Black Madonna in Provence France. The presentation will feature photos of their trip and various ways they have been inspired by this legend.
