Arts Center of St. Peter — “Departures,” new works by Cameron A. Jarvis and Betsy Ruth Byers through Sept. 8 at 315 S. Minnesota Ave., St. Peter. Reception 2-4 p.m. Sept. 7. Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Blue Earth County Library, Mankato — Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts memorabilia displayed this month at 100 E. Main St. Exhibit may be viewed during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Blue Earth County Historical Society’s Heritage Center — Paintings by Craig Groe through September at 415 Cherry St., Mankato. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Centennial Student Union Gallery — Works by Dave Bassey Monday through Sept. 11 at Minnesota State University, lower level of CSU. Reception Sept. 9. Hours: Open during student union hours.

Conkling Gallery — Paintings by MSU faculty member Brian Frink Monday through Sept. 11 at MSU in 139 Nelson Hall. Reception Sept. 9. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Brown County Historical Society Museum — Wanda Gag 120th Birthday Exhibit through November at 2 N. Broadway, New Ulm. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Emy Frentz Gallery — Leigh Johnson’s “Patterns and Rhythms in Nature” through Sept. 18 at 523 S. Second St. Reception 5-8 p.m. today. Hours: Noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

North Mankato Taylor Library — Mankato artist Margie Larson’s plein air paintings through Aug. 30 at 1001 Belgrade Ave. Exhibit may be viewed during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The 410 Project — "Pride of the Family” illustrations by James Hohenstein through Sunday at 523 S. Front St. Hours 2-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

Waseca Art Center — Furniture and wood designs by Mark Buley through Aug. 31 and paintings by Judith Forster Monson through Sept. 7 at 200 State Street North. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
