---- — Chicken dinner at St. John the Baptist

MANKATO -- The 20th annual chicken dinner will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 632 S. Broad St., Mankato.

The dinner will include baked chicken, pie and a beverage.

The cost is $7 per adult, $3 per child 12 and under and preschoolers are free. There is a family price of $21.

Lutefisk and Meatball dinner

HANSKA -- There will be a family style dinner from 4-7:30 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church, 211 Summit Ave.

The menu includes lutefisk, meatballs, lefse, mashed potatoes and more. Dessert and beverage are included.

The cost for the meal is $15 for adults, $8 for students ages 12-17, $6 for children ages 6-11 and free for children under 5.

Roast Beef dinner

LE SUEUR -- The annual roast beef dinner will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Zion United Church of Christ, 240 S. Elmwood Ave.

The dinner is buffet style and will include all of the fixings. There will also be a raffle for door prizes from local business and a one week stay at High Banks Resort.

The cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 4-10 and free for children under 3.

Harvest dinner

AMBOY -- There will be a Harvest dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at The Presbyterian Church of Amboy.

The dinner includes baked ham, baked potatoes, coleslaw and homemade pie.

The cost is $8 for adults and free for preschool children. Takeout meals available.

Spuds and Splits at Good Shepherd

NORTH MANKATO -- There will be a Spuds and Splits event from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2101 Lor Ray Drive.

The event will feature a baked potato and ice cream.

Free will offerings will go to Good Shepherd Fellowship Club projects.

Chili luncheon for Habitat for Humanity

MANKATO -- There will be a chili luncheon benefiting Habitat for Humanity from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church, 320 E. Main St.

This free will offering event is sponsored by the Social Ministry Team.
