Beth Collette Henney-Krause, of Mankato, died on Monday, March 9, 2009, at Rochester Methodist Hospital after a short battle with leukemia. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with Rev. John Wilmot officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12 from 4-8 p.m. at Landkamer Johnson-Boman Funeral Home with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

Beth was born on December 19, 1954, in Carroll, IA to Robert and Ruth (Winker) Henney. She graduated from Loyola High School. She received her undergraduate degree at Mankato State and a degree in pharmacy from South Dakota State University. After practicing pharmacy, Beth then graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a law degree. Beth was a practicing attorney in Seattle before moving to San Diego, where she was a clinical pharmacist at the V.A. Hospital. She was also a pharmacist in Minnesota and Iowa. Beth was currently practicing law while living in MN. She was trained in and practiced neural feedback in Mankato.

Beth was united in marriage to Ted Krause on December 5, 2008. She was a loving mother to Bobbie. Beth was big hearted and generous with her time. She was stimulated by reading, analyzing, and debating. She enjoyed taking walks with friends and bike riding.

Beth is survived by her husband Ted of Mankato and daughter Bobbie (age 2); sister Jamie (Paul) Schaffer of North Mankato; brothers, John (Erlinda) Henney of Esko, MN and Dave (Lynn) Henney of Maple Grove; nieces and nephews; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.
