VINE organization needs financial support, prayers
The organization known to hundreds of people in Blue Earth and Nicollet counties as VINE Faith in Action will be experiencing changes in its programs due to lack in funding.
VINE provides services such as transporting people to and from appointments, respite care for caregivers (which allows them some freedom to do errands), help with household chores and lawn raking and providing hospital equipment to people recently released from hospitals or nursing homes, to name a few.
As a recipient of these services and a volunteer, I share concerns that this lack of funding may cause some of these services to be cut.
I urge you to remember VINE with your financial support and your prayers, so our community may continue to be serviced by this great organization.
