Your View: Public needs to value state's rivers

— I applaud The Free Press for its recent coverage of life on the Minnesota River.
Only when the public understands the value of the river and takes ownership of it (as well as other rivers), will they be projected.
If rivers are not used and watched over by the public, they are open to abuses of the past.
So thank you, for this very enjoyable and informative news effort.
