Parents should warn children about joining military

Many of us have most likely seen the advertisement on TV about being careful when we are buying a previously own automobile. The advert tells us to ask for the CARFAX. The CARFAX is a history of any repair work that has been done to the vehicle, whether or not the vehicle was in an accident and other information that may be of interest to the prospective buyer.

I am sure many mothers and fathers have told their daughters and sons to be careful when buying a previously own vehicle of any type.

A higher level of concern should be exercised by mothers and fathers when their daughters and sons are talking about joining the military. Concerned mothers and fathers should be asking their daughters and sons if they have watched the documentary “The Invisible War.”

That is a documentary about the sexual abuse in the U.S. Military, not necessarily what is being done about it, moreover what is not being done about it.

Do a search on the web for more information about the documentary and to view a trailer of the video. Key words: The Invisible War.
