Clark Johnson is definitely a remarkable choice to represent us in the Minnesota House of Representatives, replacing Terry Morrow who recently retired from this elected position.
I've admired Clark Johnson for many years as a faculty colleague at Minnesota State University and know that he has faithfully represented MSU faculty on the statewide Governmental Affairs Commission for about 10 years. His service informed him of the workings of the state Legislature in general, especially in relation to education funding.
It would be a seamless transition for our representation in St. Paul if we elect Clark Johnson on Tuesday, since he would collaborate very well with Sen. Kathy Sheran and Rep. Kathy Brynaert, who currently serve those of us in District 19A and 19B.
This progressive trio would lead us into a future that will make us even prouder to be Minnesotans.
