Before I met Jack Considine over 35 years ago, I knew his parents, John and Mickey Considine.
John, a retired Air Force major, was running for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 1st District. He went on to be instrumental in the founding of the Welcome Inn and ECHO Food Shelf in Mankato.
Mickey has been involved in many charitable activities. She helped persons in need of food, clothing and housing by taking them into her home until they got back on their feet. She also had foster children and organized extensive fundraising in her church.
Considine has carried on with his family’s values with dedication and tenacity in solving problems for his Mankato constituency as a city councilman. His experience in city government, combined with lessons learned from his parents, makes him an excellent candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives.
