Published March 21, 2009 10:08 am - Lakes Jefferson, German, Washington and Madison offer a bite Local fishing report Crappies in over 12 feet, sunfish in 10 feet Big Jefferson Lake is giving up crappies during the evening hours in 12 to 16 feet. Look to German Lake for crappies in 18 to 22 feet and a few sunfish in eight to 10 feet. The east bay on Madison Lake is kicking out crappies in six to eight feet. The Third Point area of Lake Washington is producing sunfish and crappies in 18 to 24 feet.
