Workers help stock thrift store

“And we obviously want to beat that this year,” Hanson said.

Coughlan employees have done work at many charities and causes, including The United Way, Holiday Sharing Tree, Kids Against Hunger, Habitat for Humanity and others.

“I hope that, by us doing this, it will encourage other employers to start doing it, too,” Hanson said. “It’s part of Obama’s agenda. He’s asking every American to get up and give service for their country.”

Hanson said it’s also been good recruiting tool. She said Coughlan has very low turnover here and a “very high satisfaction rate.”
