Girl on bike hit by car in North Mankato

— A 13-year-old North Mankato girl remains hospitalized after being hit by a minivan this morning while riding her bike at the intersection of North Ridge Drive and Lookout Drive.
Nora Peck was taken to Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital by ambulance after the crash, which was reported at 7:45 a.m. She was in good condition at the hospital Friday afternoon, an ISJ spokeswoman said.
Heidi Coudron, 31, of North Mankato was merging into the southbound lane of Lookout Drive from the eastbound lane of North Ridge Drive when she and Peck collided, North Mankato police said. Peck was riding her bike across the merging lane.
