Father charged in shooting of daughter

— A 74-year-old rural Sleepy Eye man who allegedly shot his daughter has been experiencing psychological problems due to brain cancer, his wife said.
Brenda Runck, 34, of Springfield was in stable condition Monday in a Robbinsdale hospital after being shot in the stomach Saturday morning at the home of her parents.
Her father, Mark Jensen, was charged with first-degree assault Monday in Brown County District Court.
