Tim Pawlenty Friday morning, Sept. 22, to discuss a number of issues related to the upcoming gubernatorial election and the governoršs first term.
Members of The Free Press editorial board present included Managing Editor Joe Spear, Publisher Ken Lingen, Enterprise Editor Kathy Vos, Night News Editor Doug Wolter and staff writer Tim Krohn. Free Press political reporter Mark Fischenich also was present as were other members of the local broadcast media. Mankato was the first stop for the governor who was planning stops in New Ulm, Marshall and Willmar later that day.
