COURTLAND — Crews will begin reconstructing the sidewalks along Highway 14 in Courtland Monday.
The project includes removing the existing sidewalks and constructing new concrete sidewalks and pedestrian curb ramps from Red Shoe Drive to Fiemeyer Drive.
The highway shoulders and sidewalks will close during construction and driveway approaches will close for short periods as they are paved.
Work is expected to be complete in two weeks. When the project is finished, pedestrians will have accessible sidewalks that comply with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act.
