MANKATO — One of two people injured in a Highway 22 crash has been discharged from the hospital.
Elizabeth Eccles, 16, of Mankato who had been driving east on Blue Earth County Road 90 Monday when she collided with a truck, had been hospitalized at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato with non-life-threatening injuries. No information is available about 14-year-old Aliyah Eccles, who was a passenger in that car and who was flown to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
According to the State Patrol, Eccles’ vehicle pulled in front of the path of Ford, which attempted to swerve. The vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
