— The St. Peter Halloween Fun Run started in 2004 as a simple way to get people out on a fall day to have fun and support local charities. Now in its eighth year, the run has grown to nearly 1,400 participants, with prizes awarded for creative costumes as individuals or groups of six or more.

Some break out their Halloween costumes early. For others the run is more serious, or their Halloween costume idea is dressing as a runner. Either way, the Halloween Fun Run lives up to its name.
