Stuff A Truck drive under way

Editor's note: The duration of the drive has been changed in this brief. An earlier version said Friday was the last day to donate, but that refers to the school collections.

MANKATO — Non-perishable food items are being collected during the annual Stuff A Truck Drive, which continues through Monday.

Food donations may be dropped off in the entryways of Mankato's downtown and hilltop Hy-Vee Food Stores and in North Mankato at Expressway service stations on Belgrade Avenue and near Highway 169 in North Mankato.

Trucks parked in lots near the businesses will be filled with food donations that will be delivered to ECHO Food Shelf.

More than 20 area schools are collecting donations for Stuff A Truck this year. Cash donations to Stuff A Truck may be made at:

Sponsors of the drive are Kato Moving and Storage, UPS, Hy-Vee, Taco Johns, Expressway, Northwest Packaging and Three Eagles Radio.
