---- — MANKATO — Loyola Catholic School's annual Wired To The Heart fundraiser to support the school's technology and science raised $195,000 this year.
More than 460 people attended the recent event in the Ballroom at Minnesota State University. The fundraiser included a formal dinner, silent and live auction, and dueling pianos reception.
More than 50 sponsorships ranging from $800 to $7,500 made up the bulk of the funds raised.
Auction items included trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii and diamond pendants from Exclusively Diamonds and Williams Diamond Center, among other items.
