ST. CLAIR — A 26-year-old Eagle Lake man was seriously injured when he rolled his vehicle early Saturday morning just south of St. Clair.
Jordan J. Wannarka was southbound on Highway 83 about a mile south of St. Clair when he swerved to miss a deer, left the roadway and rolled his 2005 GMC Sierra at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The Sierra was totaled and Wannarka was taken to the Mankato hospital, where he was listed in fair condition Saturday afternoon.
Alcohol was detected in Wannarka's system, and he was wearing a seatbelt, according to the patrol report. The St. Clair Fire Department and the Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office also responded to the crash.
