ST. PETER — One of three people arrested when a large amount of methamphetamine and a suspected meth lab were found in a North Mankato residence has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge.
Cassie Jean Lillo, 42, pleaded guilty Thursday to third-degree drug possession near a public park. She was arrested May 1 after her North Mankato residence at 1201 Lake Street was searched by drug investigators. The house is near Spring Lake Park and Hiniker Pond. A meth manufacturing charge was dismissed in the plea agreement.
The Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force searched the house after an investigation prompted by several months of complaints about drug traffic. About 35 small packages of meth, a small meth lab and almost $5,000 in cash were confiscated.
A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for July 24 in Nicollet County District Court.
