Three people were injured Tuesday in three different crashes in the Mankato area during foggy and wet weather, according to law enforcement reports.
Mary Ann Woelfel, 50, of Le Center was transported to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale after the SUV she was driving left Le Sueur County Road 11 in Cordova Township and crashed into a utility pole. The crash was reported at about 10:30 a.m.
A two-vehicle crash on Highway 22 at the Blue Earth County Road 16 intersection sent Amber L. Sternitzke, 26, of Good Thunder to the hospital in Mankato. Jayson Beaudry, 35, of Mankato was traveling east on County Road 16 when his Dodge Intrepid and Sternitzke's Ponitiac Grand Am collided at about 8 a.m. Sternitzke was traveling north on Highway 22.
Crystal Sweet, 29, of Owatonna was injured in a collision at the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 60 east of Eagle Lake at about 7:40 a.m. She was traveling west on Highway 14 in a Geo Prism and collided with a GMC Yukon driven by Timothy Krause, 38 of Hubertus, Wis. Krause was traveling west on Highway 60.
