LE CENTER — Le Sueur County authorities continue to investigate two residential burglaries in which items of jewelry were taken.
The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded Nov. 21 to residences on Le Sueur Avenue/Le Sueur County Road 137 on the Le Sueur/Rice County line.
Both burglaries occurred in early afternoon hours. Rice County authorities said they have been experiencing the same type of criminal activity in their area.
In the Le Sueur County burglaries, forced entry was used at one locked residence. The other residence was unlocked.
