MANKATO — St. Peter is again accessible for traffic from Mankato.
Highways 22 and 169 between Mankato and St. Peter have reopened to traffic.
Highway 169 remains closed between St. Peter and Le Sueur, said Rebecca Arndt, Minnesota Department of Transportation's District 7 media contact. Restrictions remain on the road due to water on the edges of some locations.
The major highway between the communities closed Monday morning due to flooding from a rising Minnesota River.
The river crested in Mankato on Monday at 25.9 feet and began slowly falling Tuesday.
