MANKATO — Highway 14's westbound lanes between Mankato and Eagle Lake were closed for about two hours Monday while an accident scene was cleared.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries when a Blue Earth County tandem dump truck and an SUV collided about 11 a.m. Monday.

John A. Bastian, 42, of Mankato was driving the 2011 FM2 truck north on the county road and Kaylen D. Swanson, 23, of Owatonna was driving a 2003 Ford Escape west on Highway 14 when the vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 14 and Blue Earth County Road 86, the State Patrol said.

Both drivers were treated at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
