Arlington woman hurt in collision

---- — GAYLORD — An 83-year-old Arlington woman was injured in a rear-end vehicle collision Wednesday evening on Highway 5 at Gaylord.

Selma M. Dose was a passenger in the 1992 Mercury Topaz that Evelyn Dittmer, 80, of Glencoe was driving about 7 p.m. east on Highway 5. The automobile rear-ended a 2003 Buick Century driven by Tyler Dillon, 27, of Hutchinson, which was in a line of vehicles waiting for the lead vehicle to make a left-hand turn, the State Patrol said.

State Patrol said Dose was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Sibley Medical Center in Arlington. The hospital would not release information about her condition.

Dillon and Dittmer were not injured.
