About 600 dancers from Minnesota and Canada converged on the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato on Friday for a little do-si-do-ing at the 61st annual Minnesota State Square and Round Dance Convention.
The three-day event, which rotates between six regions around the state, was hosted by the Southwest Region of the Square Dance Federation of Minnesota Inc.
In addition to square dancing, participants tripped the light fantastic in round, folk, line and contra dancing, along with clogging.
In addition to the dancing, exhibitors offered the latest in dance fashion.
The event concludes today.
