ST. PETER — Paul Preimesberger will be the new principal at St. Peter Middle/High School, effective July 1.
The St. Peter School Board approved Preimesberger’s hiring at Monday’s meeting.
Current principal Paul Peterson will take over the position of superintendent July 1 when Supt. Jeff Olson retires.
Preimesberger of Minneapolis is the assistant director for Minnesota State University's Center School-University Partnership (Edina campus). He is the director of the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Teacher Preparation Initiative. He is also the district director for AVID programs in St. Peter, Le Sueur-Henderson, Sibley East and Waseca school districts.
Preimesberger's previous work experience includes the Robbinsdale school district, where he served as teaching and learning specialist, among other positions.
