---- — BLUE EARTH — A Highway 169 reconstruction project in Blue Earth will resume Monday.

A detour will be in place for traffic in the area of the finishing-work project.

Finishing work includes curb, gutters, sidewalks, surfacing, turf work and permanent striping.

Traffic using the full detour route will use Faribault County Roads 44, 11, 16 and E. Seventh Street, S. Rice Street and E. 14th Street in Blue Earth. Signage will be placed near Seventh Street describing access to local businesses south of the detour.

Resurfacing work to the north of Blue Earth will begin May 5.

The resurfacing work, which will begin at Interstate 90 and extend to Faribault County Road 6, will result in lane restrictions and flagging operations.
