Woman seriously injured in crash

---- — WATERVILLE — A Brookly Park woman was seriously injured in a three-vehicle broadside collision just before 11 p.m. Saturday in Waterville, according to the State Patrol.

Christine L. Quast, 32, of Brooklyn Park was airlifted from the scene. Her condition was not known Sunday night.

A 2002 Dodge Neon, driven by Quast, was westbound on Sakatah Lake Boulevard when it collided with a 2000 Mercury Sable driven by Brenda K. Adank, 43, of Waterville. The Sable was southbound on Highway 13, the State Patrol reported.

After impact, the Neon and Sable rotated into a 2006 GMC Yukon, driven by Charles Finley, 35, of Pine Island, which was stopped at a stop sign eastbound on Sakatah Boulevard and Highway 13.

Aside from Quast, all drivers and their passengers received minor injuries.

Le Sueur County Sheriff, Waterville Police Department, North Ambulance, Waterville Fire Department, Mayo One and North Air responded.
