Transportation commissioner to lead town hall discussion

MANKATO — A town hall event led by the state's top transportation official to discuss transportation issues is slated for 4 p.m. Nov. 25 in Ostrander Auditorium in the Centennial Student Union at Minnesota State University.

Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Charlie Zelle will lead a discussion about transportation, how it affects quality of life, its strong ties to Minnesota’s economy, and the importance of continuing to invest in this significant asset.

The event includes a question-and-answer session where the commissioner will take feedback and answer questions about Minnesota’s transportation system.

MnDOT District 7 Engineer Greg Ous and other local transportation officials will be available to answer questions.
